Thunderstruck (Thundermountain Brotherhood) by Vicki Lewis Thompson is a must read cowboy romance and a fabulous series. It has all the elements of a great Blaze book too- a well written story, lots of passion and intense heat all packed inside a sexy trademark cover!
Damon Harrison was raised in Wyoming and would do just about anything for his foster family. So, when he commits to a construction project back at the ranch, he reluctantly agrees to hire a contractor to save him time. Damon doesn’t believe that women should be involved at a construction site. There is just no way she could be better at building than him? Not one for long term relationships, Damon’s only interest with building a foundation is one that involves a hammer and nails.
When Damon agreed to work on a house back in his hometown with Phil he’s expecting to hang out with a guy who knows his way around a construction site. Imagine his surprise when he shows up and instead of meeting “Phil” he is introduced to Philomena Turner. Will he still be able to work on this project or will he disappoint his family and leave town?
Philomena Turner is a fantastic carpenter and has earned her way into this new job. Uninterested in settling down with a hot shot cowboy what will she do when she sets eyes on Damon? This intense attraction will derail their renovations unless they can figure out a way to harness it.
Damon thinks he has Phil all figured out. Maybe a quick fling and then finish the job before he heads back to California. What happens when she offsets his plans?
Business is business but can this nomadic cowboy settle down to finally have a home of his own? Phil is willing to play along with this game but it will cost her. Can she survive with her heat in tact?

This tale is in the Premiere Collection absolutely fantastic and a must read until the very last page. I look forward to reading Erica Ridley’s Duke’s of War Series soon. I am delighted to have discovered a new author in this collection that I’ve added to my reading list. What a perfect way to end a relaxing weekend!
