A captivating spicy dystopian romantasy that has The Handmaid’s Tale, Lost, and The Hunger Games vibes…all in ONE place! Blue Arrow Island was just the beginning. What was once a place created for a better way of life is slowly starting to fall apart.
Briar Hollis will do anything to find her sister…but first she must figure out how to escape the island. Now more than ever alliances must be formed, maintained, and nurtured. Will the man she’s given her heart to stay by her side, or betray her?
A battle is underway for power and who you trust is vital. With new players in this game of survival, the stakes rise daily. With every earth-shattering discovery time is running out.
As with all games it is wise to stay ahead of your opponent. There is no rule book, the team roster can change at any moment and the amount of twists, turns, and surprises will leave you on the edge of your reading chair. Just when you think they might make it off the island…it isn’t ready to let you…the reader…go. It’s time to put your survival skills to the test and hope your choices let you live to play another day. I was on the edge of my seat with all the twist and turns.
If you read your books and “see” a movie playing in your head like me…this is chef’s kiss. I would love to see this adapted to screen. Please note that book will answer some plot arcs while leaving others to be discovered in the next book! I can’t wait!
Always honest, always my own, and thankful to Brenda Rothert for a gifted advance e-audio book copy and e-reader copy.

A candy shop, a proposal, a misunderstanding, a few rules and a revised plan.
Renley Henrietta wants to run the town candy shop, a place that holds memories she wants to preserve.
Theo Williams is supposed to take over the family business but finds himself tangled up in a bit of a mixup. It’s time for him to figure out his future and leans into the scandal. Ready for a change he crosses the pond to meet his match.
Two strangers become neighbors. Will they survive living next to each other? I dare you to make a wager on how long it takes before the dirty talk, sexual tension, and games finally bring them together and do something unexpected? What do you do when the need to take a different path jeopardizes your happiness?
The audiobook is narrated in duet by Shane East and Stella Hunter including Gary Furlong and Melissa Metcalf with over 15 hours of fun!
OMG. I laughed, blushed, and laughed harder. The banter. The cast of characters. The texts brought to life are 😘🔥. This is one you’ll want headphone on standby…trust me! With just under 600 pages it’s the perfect afternoon escape.
This scorchin’ hot read exceeded my expectations and is a perfect book to kickoff the summer reading season. Happy Reading!
Always honest, always my own, and thankful to Meghan Quinn for a gifted advance e-audio book copy and e-reader copy.

To those who are Mother’s – by birth, choice, circumstance, and/or have fur babies… I hope you had a relaxing and enjoyable weekend with that special someone(s) in your life.
My husband planned an amazing weekend which included dinner with both college kids at the same time. The logistics alone while not covert meant I had time to catch up with my oldest on our drive – thankful and blessed.
Today we went to a museum and walked around spending time together. Sometimes you just have to live, laugh, and walk in the rain.
Now home and in dry comfy clothes I’m curled up enjoying homemade treats, a warm cup of coffee, and a fully charged kindle.
