It is Release Day for Fourth Wing by USA Today Bestselling Author Rebecca Yarros and it is currently #33 out of over 32 million books listed for sale. Congratulations Rebecca! From the first page to the last I was transported into this five hundred page book fighting to stay alive, riding dragons, and trying to figure it all out. This is the most challenging review I’ve written to date because I have so much to say yet, I don’t want to spoil a thing. If I share too much then you won’t have anything to discover. If I share too little, you could pass and select something else.
In Fourth Wing Rebecca Yarros delivers an epic world that is fresh, unique, and delivers in spades. When an author debuts a new fantasy series the worldbuilding in the first book is critical and needs to capture a reader within a few pages. From the first page the layers and layers of detail are perfection, and the dialogue is easy to navigate. Sometimes fantasy books leave a reader flipping back and forth, a few pages at a time for clarity, or referencing a glossary somewhere in the book for inorder to understand what’s happening. If you like a plot that pulls you in chapter after chapter, characters that leap off the page and into your heart for better or worse, and an adventure that keeps giving long after you have finished pack your bag and enroll in Basgiath War College today.
My no spoiler reasons why you should read this:
✔ You enjoyed: Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, Divergent, The Hunger Games, or love fantasy
✔ War College – you’ll want to enroll ASAP as soon as you are finished with this book! Wait… I can’t ?!?!

✔Violet Sorrengail- a badass heroine. Knows her weaknesses, doesn’t let them define her, and never gives up.
✔Xaden Riorson – wants revenge for his father’s death.
✔ Not all can be trusted.

✔ Who will live?
✔ Who will die?

✔ When you wait a lifetime for something and discover it isn’t meant to be. What happens next you’ll never expect.
