Levi and Gaby have great chemistry and the secondary characters add extra layers of charm that provide uncontrolled laughter, a few tears, and reassurance we all have at least one relative that is a little meshugana. IYKYK.
Embrace who you are, recognizing and accepting that only your own opinions truly matter, and love does not care if you can hear, are hard of hearing, or deaf.
Laura uses creative dialogue to shift between ASL and spoken narrative, adds layers of banter and tension with a little bit of spice. There is a nice balance between helping to rise above obligations, and a whole lot of shenanigans that make this spicy standalone a must read.
