Book Series Dilema…What do you do?

While enjoying the lively conversation at my Book Club a few weeks ago the discussion came up regarding series books. You know, the trilogy series where the author releases a book every year and you just pray you don’t forget anything important in it while waiting for the next book. So, the question was asked…”Do you read a book when it’s released?” or “Do you wait till the books are all published so that you can devour them all at once?”

I prefer to read them as they are published, which sometimes means waiting over a year until the next book is released. Otherwise if I waited until I had all of the books in my kindle I’d never start and finish any series.  I’m currently reading an ARC of “The Whisky Laird’s Bed by Donna MacMeans. I’m just a handful of pages into the book and I have been rewarded! This was worth the waiting and anticipation of what comes next. It’s just as good as the first Rake Club’s book with my favorite – a sexy Scotsman! So, go grab a cup of coffee and find a quiet reading corner. You have till July 15th to read The Cassanova Code so you can prepare yourself for a good dram of Whiskey!
