One night.
What would you do?
Pay attention to all the details if you can.
Erika has a secret that could destroy everything.

A gritty, raw, and rabbit hole of a story that will leave you questioning everything and trusting no one. Don’t be surprised if you sleep with one eye open or a candle burning. Unless of course you like things a bit dark ;).

This book has

✔ Enemies to Lovers
✔ Boyfriends Brother
✔ Dark Romance
✔ Suspense
✔ Found Family
✔ Dual POV
✔ Revenge
✔ Secrets
✔ M/F/M
✔ Twists & turns

Inferno Read ☕🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 contains:
Erotica, BDSM, explicit scenes of a sensitive or sexual nature, and M/F/M sex scenes

Thank you to @berkleyromance for the advance reader copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

If you are interested in the triggers but don’t want any content “spoilers” …. Don’t read any further.

The author includes a note regarding the sensitive content in this story.

Please note … this book has the following content in no particular order that may be upsetting or difficult for some – revenge fantasy, abusive/violent and misogynistic behavior, toxic relationships, physical and sexual assault, date-rape drugs,
dubious consent, bondage, kidnapping, group sex, and reference to incest.

💬 What was the first Dark Romance book you read?

Ronan isn’t interested in settling down and left behind a woman who wanted more than he was willing to give. If you like your romances to scorch and burn with an inferno heat mixed with secrets, pain, trust, and a discovery of love make this soo yummy. While it is part of a series, it can be read as a standalone. This 5 Flames 84x150 Review: Blossom by Author Helen HardtInferno read is so smokin’ hot your A/C and fan won’t help you cool down. A cold shower might help, but then again … Content includes – Erotica, BDSM, Explicit scenes of a sensitive or sexual nature.

Thank you Entangled Publishing for the advance reader copy for review consideration.
All opinions are my own. I can’t wait to read more from Helen Hardt.

2024 Reading Challenge

2024 Reading Challenge

Untitled design 37 300x300 2024 Reading ChallengeAs we begin a fresh new year many of you will reflect on the past twelve months. Hopefully it was memorable and filled with lots of adventures with plenty of items crossed of your lists or travels taken, and lets not forget …. books read. Through all the adventures I hope you made lasting memories, found ways to be more efficient and hopefully read lots of books. If you are sitting down and crafting your resolutions may they be ones you can tackle in bite-sized portions. I’m excited to continue with my current tasks and goals while hopefully finding planner peace this year.

May this year be filled with good health, kindness, laughter, and a tribe that you can lean on. Many of you have had a hard time the past year or so, while others are moving along at full speed. Whatever season or stage you’re at or path you’re on, hopefully our roads will intersect somewhere along the way.

With the new year arriving soon, are you a goal setter? Do you make resolutions, or, do you just say, “this year I will…” and let it be so? I’m still deciding if I’m going to pick a word for the year and while I’m not focused on losing weight I am continuing my journey to be healthy. While my workouts and routines have changed as I recover from surgery this summer, I am excited to continue my wellness journey as I slowly get back to the level I was at before I was sidelined. I’ll continue to do my best making sure to get more sleep, move daily, and focus on self care more than just a few times a week.

If you’re one of many looking to live healthier and need a cheerleader, please add me to your team. I know how difficult it is to focus on wellness, and will be there to support you in whatever challenges you set out so you can achieve them however long it takes.  Not a goal setter or not sure where to begin, take your time as there is plenty of time to organize and begin. I hope that whatever road you take we meet along the way through books and things that bring joy to your life.

If reading more is one of your goals or challenges, you’re in luck! I’m bringing back my 52 Week Reading Challenge and plan to post weekly in The Book Baristas facebook group. If you joined us a few years ago, consider taking the challenge again and sharing your book adventures along the way. This year there are no pre-selected weekly books so make your lists and get ready to read all the books! Everything you need is in this post. There are fifty two boxes to check off in whatever order you wish. I plan to post over in my facebook group The Book Baristas what I’m reading this week, so be on the lookout for that.

Check out the table below for a few suggestions to kick start your reading challenge. Let the page turning begin!
