Lucy Dawson loves her family but dreams of a life outside her town. When she discovers that her life was based on one fateful night will she find a way to forgive those involved? Will she find the courage to seek the truth? So many years of holding a grudge, what happens next?

Jax Wylder is a star football player who has spent years working to overcome his past mistakes. One wild moment threatens to unravel everything, is he strong enough to survive another scandal? What will happen when Jax realizes he’s interested in his best friend’s younger sister? Will Lucy and Jax be able to explore their feelings, or will stubbornness and fear get in the way?

It’s time to visit South Creek, North Carolina with charm, loveable characters and families we wish were our own. With lots of siblings there is bound to be plenty of shenanigans, secrets, obligations, expectations, and witty dialogue making this sinfully sweet standalone a perfect anytime read. However, once you read one, you’ll want to read them all!

This book has a solid character plot, the arcs are well developed and every time I open up one of her books to read I am just swallowed into a world that I wish was real. If you’ve never read one of her books I highly recommend this author and ANY of her series is satisfying. If you like small town romance series that have a little bit of spice then perhaps you might enjoy her books, each better than the next. Samantha Chase readers are guaranteed to find plenty of siblings with hope there might be at least a few books with adventure coming our way. Hopefully sooner than later a few of these series or standalones will find their way to the tv screen.

Book Review: King by Sawyer Bennett

Book Review: King by Sawyer Bennett

81P4nyHfQoL. SL1500 200x300 Book Review: King by Sawyer BennettKing by New York Times Bestselling Author Sawyer Bennett is the fourteenth Pittsburgh Titans book. While each book has interconnected characters they can all be read as a standalone. I have read them all to date and this seres is a gift that keeps on giving. IYKYK

Off & on the ice hockey romance w/
🏒 2 POV
🏒 Reverse Age-Gap
🏒 She’s a Doctor
🏒 Friends to Lovers
🏒 Close Proximity
🏒 Workplace
🏒 Interconnected characters

When Jack “King” Kingston and Willa Montreaux meet it’s in the most unexpected place and I’m so here for it! What will happen when King discovers she’s older, divorced, and doesn’t exactly follow hockey?

Willa is willing to put herself out there and date but getting married is not a priority. Will she truely be able to trust she won’t get hurt again, the jury is still out.

King wants to find out if that spark could ignite into something more with Willa but will she give him a chance?

3 Flames 84x150 Book Review: King by Sawyer BennettIf you love hockey romance reads, grab this one. A Spicy read with a little “tie-me-up-tie-me-down” that is best enjoyed with your favorite iced beverage, a cozy chair, and maybe a fan. The audiobook is narrated by Robert Hatchet @readbyrob and Erin Mallon @mallonerin who bring King and Willa to life.

If you’re a reader who likes to listen while doing other tasks, I was thankful for headphones at Chapter 14 – it was 🔥! I absolutely enjoyed listening to them and why it was easy to keep my headphones/speaker on. It also left me giddy with anticipation for the next Titans book.

Thank you Sawyer Bennett for the advance reader copy for review consideration. All opinions are my own.

🏐 2 POV
🏒 Hockey
🏐 Volleyball
🏒 New Adult Sports Romance
🏐 Found Family
💋 Nickname
💙 He Falls First

Along with plenty of shenanigans, banter, and road blocks as two college kids find a way to demand the life they deserve on their own terms. When I started reading this I didn’t realize that this was the last book in a series but can be enjoyed as a standalone.

What would you do if your hot summer fling suddenly transfered to your college and was now playing hockey with his former rival who also happens to be your brother?

If Nikolai can find a way to open up and work through is past he might discover he has everything to live for.

Izzy is determined and will stop at nothing to get what she wants. Will she find a way to pave a path that isn’t in the shadow of her siblings?

Sometimes no matter what you do you can’t out run those who seek to tear you down. If you are lucky you can find someone to help keep you afloat, stand with you, and face your struggles without fear.

4 Flames 1 84x150 Book Review: Wicked Serve by Grace ReillyA Scorchin Hot read that may lead to an unexpected need to turn on the A/C. So steamy the pages ignite. May include a dash of Erotic elements or allude to further exploration of desire and need. Light kink and lots of dirty talk.

While this is the last book in the series it can be enjoyed as a standalone read. However, I think that you’ll want to discover the other books as there are interconnected characters sure to please a few readers.

I fell into this book and didn’t want it to end. If you are looking for a spicy story that has a fast paced plot with all the feels and great character arcs with lots of surprises you might enjoy this book.

An unexpected home renovation, a VERY nosy neighbor, a loveable goofy Great Dane named Gus, secrets, assumptions, and family expectations.Derek and Dylan must work together to avoid their VERY nosy neighbor from discovering what happened so they hatch a plan. It’s a race against the clock as they find a solution and work together while overcoming their biggest obstacle, how they 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 feel.
