Call Me Anytime is a scorchinโ hot romantic suspense with lots of laugh-out-loud comedy.
Hannah May needs to find a good paying job so she can make sure her mother, who has Alzheimerโs, is taken care of in their home from someone she trusts. One little ad in the local newspaper will take Hannah on an epic adventure. From the interview to discovering what โcall centerโ she found her way into…I was in stitches. This book is packed with hilarious banter as an awkward virgin must entertain her callers to keep them on the line long enough to get paid.
Dominic Dunn is a Nashville detective at the scene of a murder and the only lead he has is a cell phone with a frequently dialed number. Doing what he does best he dials the number not realizing that itโs the Ruby hotline and heโs become Hannahโs first client.
Lee Samuels and Summer Morton are perfectly cast as their narration was fantastic. From their tone and pacing I could easily follow who was speaking and the little touches to differentiate whose perspective or secondary characters were speaking made this epic.
It was easy to fall into the city streets of Nashville from the Ruby hotline to the karaoke bars on Broadway. I felt like I was right there with the gang.
If you love the vibe of NCIS, karaoke dive bars, Nashville, and a detective who will need to teach a sex hotline worker how to โdirty talkโ so he can try and solve a murder – this book is for you. A scorchin’ hot read with multiple intimacy scenes, some may be โextra spicyโ and/or graphic. Some scenes might include a dash of โtie-me-up-tie-me-downโ play such as light bondage or sex toys as characters explore their curiosities and desires.
