Sometimes you just need to bookish adventure and mine was a long weekend filled with memories in New York City.
There is nothing better than a fall getaway with my husband. Enjoyed two must see shows, a NYC bagel with lox, the theatre, walking in Central Park, Strand bookstore, and finally getting a New York Public Library card.
Unfortunately I only had a short amount of time to walk through Strand and browse the shelves which meant I left without buying any books. Time to plan another trip! If you are looking for a gift for the book lover in your life and are near NYC… go to Strand!
What a great way to spend a handful of days with my husband and recharge. I did manage to return with a few bottles of bourbon, bagels, and chocolate.
