As we begin a fresh new year many of you will reflect on the past twelve months. Hopefully it was memorable and filled with lots of adventures with plenty of items crossed of your lists or travels taken, and lets not forget …. books read. Through all the adventures I hope you made lasting memories, found ways to be more efficient and hopefully read lots of books. If you are sitting down and crafting your resolutions may they be ones you can tackle in bite-sized portions. I’m excited to continue with my current tasks and goals while hopefully finding planner peace this year.
May this year be filled with good health, kindness, laughter, and a tribe that you can lean on. Many of you have had a hard time the past year or so, while others are moving along at full speed. Whatever season or stage you’re at or path you’re on, hopefully our roads will intersect somewhere along the way.
With the new year arriving soon, are you a goal setter? Do you make resolutions, or, do you just say, “this year I will…” and let it be so? I’m still deciding if I’m going to pick a word for the year and while I’m not focused on losing weight I am continuing my journey to be healthy. While my workouts and routines have changed as I recover from surgery this summer, I am excited to continue my wellness journey as I slowly get back to the level I was at before I was sidelined. I’ll continue to do my best making sure to get more sleep, move daily, and focus on self care more than just a few times a week.
If you’re one of many looking to live healthier and need a cheerleader, please add me to your team. I know how difficult it is to focus on wellness, and will be there to support you in whatever challenges you set out so you can achieve them however long it takes. Not a goal setter or not sure where to begin, take your time as there is plenty of time to organize and begin. I hope that whatever road you take we meet along the way through books and things that bring joy to your life.
